The business of the company was started in 1917 as a small partnership firm. Mr A. K. Doshi who joined in 1924 as partner secured dependable source of supply by successfully getting agency from a well known British Company, L.B. Holiday & Company Ltd of Hudersfield, U.K. Gradually the company became one of the largest Indian company dealing in industrial acid dyes, liquid basic dyes, liquid acid dyes, textile basic dyes etc in India with branches at, Kanpur, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Culcutta, Madras and Madurai and distribution network throughout the country.
